Worship, Crafts, Food & Fun for Families
Messy Church is a joyful, hands-on way for families to explore faith together. It's church — but not as you know it! We gather around Bible stories through craft, play, songs, and shared food. There’s no age limit, no pressure, and absolutely no need to sit still.
When We Meet
Third Saturday of each month 15:00 - 17:00
at St Mary’s Church, Stanwell
Please note:
We don’t meet in August.
If the third Saturday falls during half-term, we pause that month.
In July, if schools have already broken up by then, we also take a break.
What to Expect
Creative crafts based on a Bible story
Simple prayer or worship(often with action songs!)
Family-friendly food to share — no need to bring anything
Time to play, chat, and be together
All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult — it’s about growing in faith together.
Everyone Welcome
You don’t have to be a regular churchgoer. You don’t need to know the Bible inside out. You just need a sense of fun, a little curiosity, and a willingness to get a bit messy!
Whether you’re a single parent, a grandparent with your grandchildren, or just someone looking for a space to belong — come and see.
