In every generation Christians ask the same questions: Who is Jesus? What does the Church believe? How do I pray? What does it mean to live as a Christian today?
To help explore these questions we have produced three short series of parish leaflets. Each one is written to be clear, faithful, and rooted in the Catholic tradition of the Church of England. They are not academic essays. They are invitations — to understand, to grow, and to pray.
This series explores what the Church believes — the foundations of Christian doctrine, expressed with clarity and in continuity with the wider catholic tradition.
Topics include: the Holy Trinity; who Jesus is; the Kingdom of God; the Church; the sacraments; and the Holy Mass.
Belief is not only something we think — it is something we live. These leaflets look at discipleship in the ordinary realities of life: growth, struggle, decision, perseverance, and hope.
If you are exploring faith, returning to church, or seeking a steady path forward, this is a good place to begin.
At the heart of the Christian life is prayer. This series offers practical guidance on how to pray, how to grow in faithfulness, and how to use the Church’s treasury of spiritual helps.
These leaflets are simple and practical — for those beginning, returning, or wanting to go deeper.
These leaflets are offered freely as part of the teaching ministry of the parish. If you would like to talk further about any of the themes they explore, please do get in touch — faith grows best in conversation.
