Parish Mass
with traditional hymns, choir, organ, sermon. We read from the Bible, listen to the sermon, sing a few "good old hymns". Bread and wine are consecrated into Christ's Body and Blood and then Holy Communion is received. Incense is used. The whole service lasts about an hour.
Low Mass
Mass but a shorter, more simple service than on Sundays. No hymns. We still read from the Bible, offer prayers, and receive Holy Communion. The service is less formal than on Sunday, and lasts about 30 minutes.
Evensong & Benediction
A service very much loved by many: we sing some Psalms, read from the Bible, and offer some prayers. Incense is used. The whole service is in traditional language, from the Book of Common Prayer. After Evensong the Blessed Sacrament (Jesus' presence amongst us in the consecrated Bread) is enthroned on the Altar, and praises and intercessions are offered.
Morning/Evening Prayer
Said, simple service, lasting 15-20 minutes. This service is less formal, and consists of a psalm, two readings, and some prayers.

Having Children at our masses is a joy!
Mass is central to our shared life together. No matter how squirmy, children are welcome participants at Mass. By celebrating the Mass with the community, children come to know themselves as the full members of the body of Christ that they are. Children, like the community, are shaped by the prayers of the Mass. Parents may consider helping their little ones follow along and encourage them to sing no matter the words or sounds they offer joyfully. For parents getting used to having their little ones with them at prayer, we offer a parent and children corner at the back of the St Cecila Chapel in St Matthew's and in the North Aisle at St Mary's.
1 1st Week – Sacred Heart, 2nd – Healing, 3rd – Our Lady of Walsingham, 4th – Requiem, 5th - For the increase in Vocations.
We emphasise sacramental worship (the Mass or Holy Eucharist) celebrated in a traditional Anglo-Catholic style, with strong orthodox teaching and preaching, supportive pastoral care, a caring parish family, and responsibility to our community and the greater world.
The Church is a Field Hospital for Sinners.
